Toyota RAV4 Long Island Vehicles

The Toyota RAV4 Long Island vehicles have received minor changes in design and new features in the Limited trim level. In the Limited model, there are now chrome-accented interior appointments.
Toyota RAV4 Long Island buyers will find the RAV4 to be well positioned among top mid-size SUVs. It is spacious, comfortable and very easy to drive. It has a room for up to seven people. Its engine is even more powerful yet doesn’t sacrifice fuel economy.
The V6 model of Toyota RAV4 can generate up to 265 horsepower but the fuel economy is not much more than 4-cylinder model. It is a midsized crossover SUV that has many great features. Toyota RAV4 Long Island shoppers may buy Toyota RAV4s with either a V6 or a 4-cylinder engine. They may also choose front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. There are three trim levels available: Base, Sport and Limited.

The base trim comes with 16-inch steel wheels, air-conditioning, cruise control, full power accessories, keyless entry, driver seat height adjustment and some other features like 6-speaker audio system with CD player and auxiliary audio jack.
The RAV4 Sport trim has 18-inch alloy wheels, color-keyed bumpers and a sportier suspension tuning. Buyers of the 4-cylinder Sport or V6 4-wheel drive Sport trim, will also get rear doors without the spare tires hanging off the door, run-flat tires, leather-steering and shift knob and heated side view mirrors.
The standard engine available produces 179-horsepower, 2.5L 4-cylinder and a 269-horsepower 3.5L engine is also available as an option. Both the engines are VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing with intelligence). The 4-cylinder engine includes a 4-speed automatic transmission, but with the V6 engine drivers get a 5-speed automatic transmission. Both of these engines may be used either for front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. It can automatically send torque to wheels if necessary and has a “lock” mode which maximizes torque going to the rear wheels for use at low speeds.
Both engines have a very good fuel economy. The 4-cylinder engine is estimated at 22 mpg (miles per gallon) in city and 28 mpg for highway, while the V6 can do 19 mpg for city and 27 for highway. The acceleration of V6 is impressive for the vehicle’s size, and it can go from zero to 60 mph in less than 7 seconds. The Toyota RAV4 also has Hill-start Assist Control. Other features include JBL-sound system, Bluetooth hands-free interface, dual-zone climate control, steering wheel audio control etc.
