Toyota Highlander Long Island SUV has New Features

Toyota Highlander Long Island SUVs have ranked fourth out of 23 Affordable Midsize SUVs. With good fuel economy, room for seven, and representing a blend between SUV and sedan, the Highlander is a competent and family-focused SUV.
Toyota Highlander Long Island customers will find it available in various trim levels like Base, Sport, SE and Limited trims.
A 2.7L 4-cylinder engine is available that can generate up to 187 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. The 3.5L V6 engine and can generate 270 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque. The base engine comes with a standard 6-speed automatic transmission while the other engine, that is, the V6 version, comes with standard 5-speed automatic transmission. The towing power of 4-cylinder is up to 3,500 pounds while the V6 engine can pull a load of up to 5,000 pounds.

A hybrid version is also available to Toyota Highlander Long Island buyers. All hybrid trims will come with a 3.3L V6 engine and an integrated electric motor that can generate a total of up to 209 horsepower. The torque for this engine is 212 pound-feet. This hybrid model also has an EV mode in which allows drivers to travel for short distances only on electric power. There is another mode named ECON that when engaged makes acceleration limited to conserve energy.
It also has a lot of features related to safety. Safety features include anti-lock brakes, brake assist, front side airbags, roll-sensing side-curtain airbags, driver’s knee airbag, and downhill assist functions. In the hybrid version, owners will also get Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) system. This system incorporates all the safety functions and allows them to intervene when drivers enter a situation that could result in the loss of vehicle control. The Highlander also has an anti-skid system, ABS and traction control.
Other features include 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, leather-trimmed steering, a 3.5 -inch information screen, a moon roof and JBL high quality audio system.
